Normally I photograph dogs and cats - but sometimes there are other animal surprises! One of my coolest snapshots in animal photography was a photoshoot with quails. Yes, quails!
From underneath they looked almost like flying UFOs. Of course dogs remain my main models, but this experience showed me that really almost every animal looks incredibly exciting from this perspective!
Emotions that get under your skin
There are moments during the shoot that touch me particularly. I remember a family with a small dog - the owner, a seasoned man, was completely blown away when he saw the first unedited pictures on the screen.
He couldn't take his eyes off them and was even more in love with his dog than before. Such moments are priceless - and that is exactly what makes my work as an animal photographer so special.
