How does it work – photographing animals from underneath?

During the shoot, your pet stands on a special, stable glass plate. We then photograph them from underneath from a completely new perspective – the result: funny paws, curious looks, and unique pictures that are guaranteed to get people talking! Of course, your darling's well-being comes first – everything happens in a relaxed, safe, and sensitive manner.

Can any animal be photographed from underneath?

Accepted Answer

Almost every dog and many cats can participate! The only important thing is that your four-legged friend is not too afraid of smooth surfaces and can stand or sit on the plate for a few minutes. Even with shy or sensitive animals, we usually find a solution – we take the necessary time and work very calmly. If you are unsure, please contact us. We'd be happy to send you a training plan!

What if my pet refuses or is too excited?

Accepted Answer

No stress – that can happen. We don't force any animal to do anything. If your dog or cat is too insecure, stressed, or overwhelmed, we cancel the shoot. Your darling's well-being always comes first – anything else would not be fair.

Question 4

Is it dangerous for my pet?

Accepted Answer

No! The glass plate is specially built for this purpose, easily carries even larger dogs, and is regularly checked. Your pet stands safely – and we are right there during the entire shoot. You too!

Question 5

How heavy can my pet be?

Accepted Answer

Our glass plate is a real powerhouse – it easily carries up to 150 kg! This means that even the coziest Great Danes, the most imposing St. Bernards, or the fluffiest Newfoundlands are very welcome. The only important thing is that your four-legged friend can be positioned reasonably well on the plate – we'll do the rest together.

Does my pet need to know certain commands?

Accepted Answer

No, don't worry! If your dog or cat can eat and ideally likes doing so, that is absolutely helpful – but not a must. We guide you and your pet during the shoot and with a few treats, it usually works out really well. Teamwork.

Question 7

How long does the shoot take?

Accepted Answer

The actual shoot usually only takes 10 to 15 minutes – sometimes even shorter. We do several poses and perspectives during this time, so you have a nice selection at the end. We plan more time for several animals, of course.

Question 8

Can I have several animals photographed?

Accepted Answer

Sure, absolutely! Please let us know when booking so we can plan enough time. There is a small surcharge for each additional animal – so that everyone is treated fairly and we can work stress-free. And later in the selection gallery, you can also order a collage so that both animals can be seen in one picture at the end, as if they had been on the table at the same time.

Where does the shoot take place?

Our pet photo shoots take place either at trade fairs or at exclusive individual events – you can find the exact locations in our event overview. There is often a lot of hustle and bustle at trade fairs with other animals and people (a valid rabies certificate is required here). If you prefer a quieter environment for your pet, we recommend our individual events. Here we are completely undisturbed in the room during the shoot, which is ideal for sensitive animals.

What if my pet can't stand still?

Accepted Answer

Don't worry, your pet doesn't have to stand completely still for our pet photography from underneath! On the contrary: The best and funniest poses are created precisely through movement. Your dog or cat can relax and pick up treats or their favorite toy on the glass plate. This natural dynamic ensures authentic pictures and makes the photo shoot a positive, stress-free experience for your four-legged friend.

How do I get the pictures?

Accepted Answer

After the shoot, you will receive an online preview gallery where you can peacefully select your favorite pictures. You then have the choice between downloading the pictures but also high-quality prints such as photo prints and wall pictures on canvas, Alu Dibond, and Fine Art Museum acrylic glass.
